About the team

Uber's Global Greenlight Program team is part of the CommOps Operations team. We implement strategy, planning, innovation, and business development for the company's global network of Uber Greenlight locations, our in-person locations that serve drivers. These locations are one of the company's key growth channels for getting drivers on the road and keeping them engaged with Uber. It's an extremely rewarding and challenging team to work on because Uber Greenlight locations are the face of Uber for driver-partners, and our operations are essential for Uber's growth around the globe.

We are focused on bringing unique Greenlight retail experiences through growing our line of partnerships across multiple verticals, and deliver value to our driver partners by making great deals on relevant goods and services.

About the role

As a Strategic Retail Partnership Specialist, you will lead the charge to formalize an engaging retail experience within the Greenlight and Pop Up locations.You will be all geared up to ensure partnership success while working closely with internal teams.

So what's the challenge? Supporting the retail partnerships expansion and development in the SouthCone sub region.

What you'll do

  • Strike deals with national/sub-regional vendors and accomplish occupancy rate
  • Engage with BD and external partners to negotiate and drive contracts to closure
  • Negotiate new on demand national/sub-regional Pop Ups locations and support GL POCs on the implementation
  • Execute national/sub-regional deals at GLs
  • Support in finding new places for Pop Ups
  • Follow up and execution of the Pop Ups at third party locations strategy built by the GL team
  • Trackers templates elaboration, progress and impact measurement of Mkt campaigns at GLs
  • Proactively escalate problems within the GL operation and participates in the design of solutions
  • Solve critical interactions with national/sub-regional clients, third parties, and within the team
  • Support and monitor execution of communication strategy for retail and pop-up partnerships
  • Communicate to Greenlight team on fashion time about new offers and deals for drivers.
  • Manage Retail POCs network operational performance through scheduled 1:1s (weekly or bi-weekly)
  • Keep contact with your regional or sub-regional Greenlight POC in order to make sure that the retail partners are performing according to the expectations
  • Analysis and feedback to retail vendors based on the vendor scorecard management
  • Share driver insights through proper channels with leadership and regional vendors POCs
  • Manage the essential critical relationships with retail vendor partners on a regular basis with a 5 stars quality service in order to have a successful account management
  • Help manager to define what optimal workplace conditions for vendors are (EHS, cleanliness, brand)
  • Tracking and control over contracts, invoices and payments from all the sub-region
  • Develop along with GL team, educational programs for drivers who visit GLs
  • Identify, Implement best practices across partner locations and measure the impact through surveys and key metric analyses
  • Analyze national/sub-regional metrics and develop action plans to achieve team's goals
  • Create events concepts
  • Manage assigned T&E budget
  • Take the lead and develop/ import regional projects across the region and deploy them effectively
  • Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, by tracking and analyzing performance via analyses. Track and have a view of the region's partnerships and their performance in local markets
  • Develop the tools and processes that will help local teams manage partnerships better
  • Follow up , execution and measure all the new initiatives GL pilots in terms of Retail experience before expansion

Execute Driver benefits online campaigns when needed to measure results and add value to negotiations and GL occupation
