About the Role

We are seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager - North, Northeast and Central West Brazil to work in collaboration with the Senior Operations Managers and deliver the business targets for the region. The Strategy & Operations Manager will support the market intelligence processes to attract, convert, engage and retain users facing a complex market reality. This requires a commitment to operational excellence, a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, competition movements and partner economics. The capacity to analyse and extract insights from different sources of data, develop a deep market understanding, have a customer centric mindset to implement high impact initiatives, follow up on results and act on deviations is crucial to this position. The ideal candidate possesses superb analytical skills, is passionate about teamwork and has prior experience working systematically to deliver outstanding results.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of our territory's growth and market intelligence metrics
  • Identify new business opportunities through customers' pain points
  • Develop analysis and implement improvements in several subjects regarding Uber's territory operations, such as budget optimization and processes to protect users at their most valuable times from churning or detracting
  • Assist product features roll-outs to improve earnings, pricing, etc
  • Communicate internally and externally to grant processes implementation
  • Be willing and excited to learn and develop new skills while on the job

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience that included combinations of the following functions: operations, strategy, product and analytics
  • Solid results in management skills. You have demonstrated ability to reach challenging targets at your organization
  • Business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to establish the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
  • Passion for Problem Solving. You are curious to understand the why behind pain points and is unstoppable until the issue is solved.
