Marketing Manager, Creative Optimization

About the Role

Creative is often the single most-influential aspect of all marketing efforts, and this role will have a direct impact on all performance marketing creative at Uber. As we look to scale globally, while becoming more efficient, we need to continually evolve our creative to be best-in-class when it comes to brand objectives and legal compliance. We will look to launch new program creatives on a regular basis, along with refreshing long standing evergreen creative to avoid creative fatigue. There will be strong coordination with the global brand team to allow for a 'One Marketing' team voice to external facing Uber users. In order to be as efficient as possible in these efforts, we'll need to build products and tools in house to allow for custom creative automation and optimization. Sitting on the performance marketing team, we will work cross functionally with many different teams: channel leads, lines of business leads, brand teams, the performance marketing creative team, AdTech teams (including product managers and engineers), and data science & analytics teams.

What You'll Do

  • Using in-house tools, pull together creative performance insights to share with creative, business, and channel teams to inform future asset development.
  • Project manage creative process from start to finish
  • Educate teams on current insights from creative AB tests and AI-engine outputs, and follow up with designing test experiment recommendations
  • Working with the Uber AdTech team (product managers and engineers) to build new creative product tools and levers to allow for better marketing optimization and efficiency
  • Work with manager and digital channel teams to maintain creative testing calendar

What You'll Need

  • Knowledgeable about digital KPIs and performance marketing channels (social, display, mobile app marketing, app stores, SEM, affiliate, etc.)
  • Prioritization, organization, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with stats foundation
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineers, design, analytics, and digital marketing teams
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
  • A plus if you have worked with dynamic content optimization engines
  • Experience scoping and being a product owner in building new technology products in house
  • Ability to find ways to build new products that allow for automation
