About the Role

Uber is looking for a Program Manager to focus exclusively on L&D Efficiency. This role will work directly with key leadership on identifying and actioning strategic L&D projects at a global and regional level. This multifaceted role requires someone who is extremely organized, experienced in project and program management, detail-oriented, process-driven and adaptable to change. A strong L&D operations or generalist skill-set is ideal.

Our Community Operations Teams are all about operational efficiency, and as a part of the Learning team, you would be ensuring that the Global and Regional L&D teams have the processes and infrastructure in place to support their business and key projects. You will be working directly with regional and global L&D team members to create solutions for capacity, process gaps, and many other high impact areas! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong bias for action and the ability to manage multiple high-level projects, partner with cross-functional teams, provide guidance for peers and communicate updates and outcomes effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Manage new projects and initiatives, from intake process through to change management and execution
  • Manage project working groups through all project phases, from kick-off and execution
  • Consult with a diverse set of stakeholders to gather input, gain agreement and align on common goals for projects and key workstreams
  • Analyze data, produce detailed insights and create executive summaries for key stakeholders
  • Be a passionate advocate for best in class Regional and Global L&D processes and solutions

What You'll Need

  • Must have a BS/BA with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must have clear and effective written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and teams
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment and managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Self-directed and takes initiative in tackling problems big and small
  • Experience creating and managing streamlined processes
  • Superior organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Experience in education, learning & development, and program management

Bonus points if

  • Experience working in an Agile or Product team
  • Experience working in a customer service environment (business process outsourcing, call centers, etc.)
