Technical Partnerships Manager, Uber Eats - LatAm

About the Role

The Uber Eats team is looking for a sharp, highly motivated individual to help build partnerships that support scaling POS integration to strategic restaurant partners in the LatAm region. The role will report to the Head of Technical Account Management located in Mexico City. This person will work closely with internal stakeholders including central and global engineering / product teams, regional technical account managers, sales leads, and city operations to create strategy around core business and technical initiatives and prioritise partnership opportunities that provide a strong ROI.

What You'll Do

  • Critically and thoroughly analyze non-recurring transactions by properly identifying the accounting implications of various explicit terms and implied nuances, applying appropriate accounting rules and literature and exercising judgment in subjective areas to draw reasonable and acceptable conclusions.
  • Evaluate the adoption of accounting standard updates, including drafting and maintaining relevant accounting policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, working with the business partners in accounting and other functions (e.g., legal and corporate development) to identify financial risks associated with new or contemplated transactions and resolve complex accounting issues.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 3 years of Business Development experience within a technical domain or solution delivery / pre-sales or other technical delivery roles but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
  • Fluent in English and Spanish - Portuguese a plus
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and solutions such as API's, middleware, SDK's.
  • Demonstrated project and program management skills - able to manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously and move them forward according to project timelines.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence
  • Detail oriented with the ability to thrive in fast moving, ambiguous environments
  • Willingness to travel to engage client IT teams and stay productive and professional on the road.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to act effectively with only high-level direction is also essential.
  • Experience negotiating, closing and growing commercial partnerships
  • High aptitude and successful track record selling value props and deal making
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and collaborate with people at all levels and functions
  • Analytical mindset and track record of leveraging data to inform strategy

About the Team

We build scalable & controlled processes and help implement accounting systems and automation for our Global Accounting function.
