Uber Eats Senior Regional Operations Manager, Eater Promo

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead the National Eater Promotion Team, including P&L management of an 8-digit growth budet, across the US and Canada. Reporting to the US/Can Eater Engagement Lead, the leader will drive the strategic thinking on how we can best engage our eaters, own the promo P&L, and drive alignment among stakeholders including executive leadership, Operations, Product, Co-Marketing, and CRM. The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of clearly communicating strategy and financial impact, devising execution priorities, developing a detailed understanding of customer engagement, and advocating with global product teams.

What You'll Do

  • Identify efficient growth opportunities to drive incremental growth among various cohorts of existing eaters, via promotions at minimal costs. Identify untapped or high potential eater segments and develop eater insights to capitalize on market trends
  • Manage existing eater incentives P&L for US/Can including ownership of the eater engagement promo budget. Drive alignment among stakeholders including executive leadership, Regional Ops, Product, Co-Marketing, and CRM
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of operations managers and strategists focused on providing insights to understand eater behavior, develop a cohesive strategy, programs and solutions to increase eater engagement, drive accountability and visibility of progress against goals, surface gaps and opportunities, and prioritize actions to improve business results

What You'll Need

  • At least 4 years of operations management experience; 2+ of those years in investment banking / consulting / business intelligence / strategy or related experience; some high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong people management skills and proven track record strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with an analytical orientation; empathetic and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team; skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments; thrives on change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as stakeholder management, consensus building and project management
  • Exceptional Excel / data management skills
  • SQL proficiency strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, physics, chemistry, engineering, economics, computer science, operational research); MBA degree highly desired, but not required
