Uber Eats Senior Regional Operations Manager, Cities

About the Role

The Uber Eats Regional Operations team is helping to drive innovation, scale our most impactful business initiatives, and support various Uber Eats markets. You will build and execute data-driven strategies and processes that will drive the growth and efficiency of the business. This role will work closely with cross-functional counterparts (i.e. Marketing, Product, Finance, and other Ops verticals) to lead high impact initiatives across the US & Canada while offering ownership and autonomy over your work.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of new programs, processes, or pilots impacting restaurants, and become an internal champion to cross-functional partners
  • Scale successful experiments into central programs that can drive differentiated experience and internal efficiencies
  • Drive analysis on important strategic decisions and inform key business initiatives, including understanding the key levers to improve the experience and sentiment with Uber Eats
  • Communicate to senior regional ops leaders on projects/priorities; able to organize and lead effective meetings, collect and provides actionable feedback & communicate priorities and goals effectively
  • Drive analysis to inform and influence our strategy in the different cities by understanding the core food delivery experience at the city level and improve our relevance in every market
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the core city experience, including what makes each city unique and how we can improve it in a scalable and cost effective way
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with other operations and functional teams ensure local strategy shapes and influences broader strategic initiatives the organization decides to pursue
  • Develop a turn-around framework for business challenges, using our operational toolkit to identify geographic opportunities and bets and execute against them

What You'll Need

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience (management consulting, investment banking, operations, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex data sets into simple and digestible takeaways for senior leaders and managers
  • Strong project management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
