About the Role
Uber India Rides team is looking to hire a lead for launch and expansion into new markets in India. Reporting into the Head of the City Operations, this role to lead this strategic initiative will be critical in shaping Uber's growth trajectory in one of our most important markets.
We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial leader with a founder's mindset. If you are excited about fundamentally re- imagining transportation for the emerging world, impacting the lives of millions of riders in emerging regions, working with and learning from a phenomenal team, engineering, operations, and business leaders, this is the role for you.
You'll come with a track record of building teams and systems tied directly to the top and bottom line results of the organization, ideally with demonstrated proficiency in discovering and designing processes for scale. Emotional intelligence and leadership capabilities are a must, as the expectations are high for managing a newly formed team, in a fast paced environment, including a diverse set of stakeholders all over the world.
