Enterprise Account Management Strategy MBA Intern- Summer 2020

About the Role

The Account Management function is the driving force behind customer retention and long-term revenue growth. As an Enterprise Account Management MBA Intern, you will get firsthand experience working with Uber's largest business travel partners. Throughout the summer you will learn the skills needed to manage and build strong strategic relationships with enterprise-level corporations. You will work with high-growth Account Executives to drive results in operational excellence, customer service, and revenue growth during the critically important onboarding stages. Moreover, you'll work closely with Account Managers to learn how to best retain, renew, and drive revenue within a book of business through upselling and cross-sell strategies. You will learn cross-team collaboration skills by working with Product & Engineering, Strategy & Planning, and Communication Operations with the goal of providing a world-class customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Analysis and presentation of findings - internal analysis of accounts and customer Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Partner with internal teams to onboard and manage day-to-day customer asks
  • Work with AM leadership on team reporting and internal analysis
  • Seek to achieve operational excellence by iterating and improving on playbooks, internal tools and resources, and cross-functional & internal processes
  • Work directly with clients to improve the employee and administrator Uber for Business experience with communication and on-site presence

What You'll Need

  • Strong communication skills, both written and visual--can translate observations and learnings into concise and actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with Customers (ideally in Sales)
  • Strong collaboration and alignment skills, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with new product development, comfort with ambiguity and pivoting in real time
  • Understands how to use business needs to shape customer goals.
  • You persevere. You're able to think on your feet and hustle through fire drill situations
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment and have a competitive edge
  • Ability to problem solve, adapt, and grow quickly as we build the Account Management organization
  • Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
