Program Manager HRBP - EMEA Community Operations

About the Role

The Community Operations team supports Uber's users (riders, eaters, restaurants, delivery-partners, driver-partners, etc.). We help them use the platform, resolve issues (e.g. log-in the app, payment not going through, lost my phone in the car, etc.), and provide their feedback. We develop healthy and positive relationships between users and our brand, thanks to our 2800+ employees across EMEA.

We're looking for a Program Manager, People to join our EMEA Community Operations team, to collaborate with teams across EMEA to work on the operationalization of regional people initiatives. These initiatives will impact our Community Specialist Teams across our 4 Centres of Excellence (COEs) and 130 Greenlight Hubs (GLHs). Based in Amsterdam, but with impact across EMEA, this role will focus on designing, building, and implementing initiatives to enhance and drive our Community Specialist team's growth and experience across the region. In this role, you will work closely with our Community Operations People team and regional leads to provide sharp insights to the different teams in the business and help translate these into actions.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the Senior HRBP Community Operations as well as the CommOps leadership team to build scalable people initiatives with direct impact on our Community Specialist Teams across EMEA. Initiatives will include coordinating and improving the delivery of our quarterly P4P program, scaling policies and processes across our COEs and GLHs, driving training for our Team Lead population across multiple topics, drive engagement of newly launched mobility program called 'Flex'.
  • Prepare and present analysis, insights and recommendations to support decision making, based on key stakeholder feedback. Key stakeholders include CommOps HRBPs, COE Site Leads and Customer Experience Leads.
  • Assist the People team in planning and managing tactical program implementation, including documentation of project scope, scheduling deliverables and monitoring of execution.
  • Adhoc HR Business Partnering for our Greenlight Hub population.
  • Ensure critical projects are delivered on time and with a high level of quality
  • Drive communications within the business to ensure consistent messaging on key people topics and to drive engagement.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience with a project management component; ideally within a people function.
  • HRBP background is an advantage. You may be a HRBP with strong project management skills.
  • Passionate about engaging with different teams and cultures - you are a Team player!
  • Experienced in engaging and developing relationships with multiple stakeholders; managing internal discussions and eliminating political tensions.
  • Communication, and program management skills, with an ability to dive deep into problems and develop practical, effective and timely solutions.
  • Superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
  • Good analytical abilities; able to dig into complex data sets to help inform decisions

Bonus Points If

  • Change Management Experience in complex environments
  • Minimum of BA/BS; Master's degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience with team development in a fast growing start-up
