About the Role

As the Expansion Lead for a crucial business vertical within the Rides buisness, you'll be responsible for driving the growth strategy across a portfolio of 30+ airports and events.

Day-to-day, you'll manage relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, lead a team of Operations associates/managers, while overseeing and optimising region-wide operations.

We're looking for an all-star who can define and set business strategy, bring commercial acumen to stakeholder discussions, and structure and manage a team.

You'll find comfort digging into the details while connecting the dots - working closely to manage strategic programs and partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the strategy for airports, events and venues (AEV) across ANZ and lead initiatives across our business teams to grow strategic and long-term opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues regionally and globally, within operations as well as in business development, marketing and product to align on shared goals and strategies
  • Be the point-of-contact for a portfolio of airports and events and navigate internal processes to provide the best outcome for our partners and our markets
  • Build and develop a high performance team; motivate them to continually achieve higher levels of business impact
  • Identify operational challenges and help improve or pioneer new processes to keep the team as efficient as possible

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of professional experience and prior experience in an external-facing role in Consulting and/or Strategy and Program Management
  • Experience engaging with and managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in negotiatitng large scale contracts
  • Comfort with building and cultivating new relationships with potential and existing partners and within all parts of an organization
  • Ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights, providing inputs to the wider Rider and business strategy
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude; this team moves fast and always operates in new spaces
  • A balance between attention to detail and swift implementation; we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
