About the Role
The right candidate for this role will be the import/export compliance subject matter expert in the Asia Pacific region (APAC), supporting a major part of our global supply chain model for sourcing of cutting edge parts and components across all lines of business. From electric bikes and scooters, to self-driving technology, to UberEats branded courier goods, the Global Trade Compliance Sr Specialist / Program Manager will be in charge of supervising all transactions and implementing the whole export/import program for the APAC region. This position will be located in Singapore, Hong Kong or Japan.

About the Team
Uber's Global Trade Compliance team is based in San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Amsterdam, and soon to be Hong Kong or Japan. We hold the line on financial sanctions, embargoes, customs/import, export controls, and anti-boycott across Uber's footprint. We provide compliance insight and regulatory expertise along with operational support to all Uber business units, at the cutting edge of Uber's global initiatives to change the way the world thinks about transportation.
