Global Brand Marketing Manager, Uber Eats

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, curious and proactive global brand leader to help develop and drive Uber Eats marketing strategy, lead the development of global brand campaigns and drive initiatives to build an influential food brand that sits at the intersection of technology, community and opportunity. This individual will report to the Global Head of Brand Marketing for Uber Eats and will be a key member of a robust cross-functional global marketing organization driving business growth and reshaping the food delivery category.

What You'll Do

  • Global Brand Campaign Management: Provide leadership of cross-functional global brand campaigns including ownership of brand plans, briefing of agencies, channel and comms, development of toolkits (including core strategy & frameworks), establishing measurement and tracking plans, and providing ongoing consultation with regional and market leaders to ensure successful local campaign development/execution
  • Integrated Planning: Development of global marketing plans for Uber Eats' including identifying areas of focus, developing marketing frameworks and best practices for campaign development. Own management of global calendars, integrated flows and engagement with marketing planning and operations on budget, reporting and governance
  • Partnership for Regional Brand Teams: Consult and support regional brand teams on major integrated brand campaigns and initiatives to ensure appropriate application of global brand strategy and deployment of global brand resources / support
  • Cross-Business Initiatives: Provide global brand marketing leadership and engagement for strategic initiatives in coordination with other Uber businesses (i.e. Rides, Freight, etc.) and key functions (Product Marketing, Business Development, Operations) in pursuit of enterprise objectives as assigned
  • Co-Marketing Integration: Partner with sales, business development and regional marketing teams to develop and deploy integrated partner-marketing ideas and platforms with key third-party partners to drive acquisition and favorability for the Uber Eats brand

What You'll Need

  • At least 6-8 years of proven cross-functional marketing program leadership experience
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience leading the development and execution of global strategic marketing plans and integrated marketing campaigns, application of research/insights, brand strategy, equity positioning, channel & comms planning, and campaign measurement/reporting
  • A track record of being an energetic team leader and project manager with a collaborative spirit and the ability to influence and unify cross-functional teams, peers, and leaders
  • Strong analytical skills and agility to quickly understand and communicate the relationship between marketing results and business outcomes
  • Experience working within complex, global consumer marketing organizations
  • A bias for action and relentless focus on ensuring results

  • Experience leading complex campaigns across multiple international markets.
  • Understanding of multi-prong marketplaces and the nuances of brand building to multiple customer (consumer & B2B) targets
  • Experience leading marketing efforts within within complex technology product-driven environments

With a relentless focus on customer needs & insights, cultural relevance, collaborative innovation and strategic excellence, we steward the Uber Eats equity and build brand love with communities around the world.

This team is helping to define the practice of brand marketing for the entire Uber organization. Members of this small core team will engage with marketing teams around the world to establish best practices, collaborate to build out culture-defining integrated executions, and develop the global brand narrative for the Uber Eats brand to drive key brand metrics and business outcomes .
