Senior Manager,Regional Operations - Uber Moto

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to get 'the Uber 1.0' experience on the fastest growing product category in India SA - Uber Moto and have direct business impact through strategic growth in the central product team. Uber Moto has all the buy-in to scale to 10x in the next 2-3 years and beat competitors and rapidly expand a super-clear PMF category that seeks to target the rider spectrum below the current targeted pyramid. This is also our flagship project to reach to the India-2 and 3 - the 'Bharat in India ' - and be much more relevant. This role will be pivotal to achieving all the above goals by helping drive strategic decisions through creative thinking, hustle, data driven approach, analytics, and operational mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Lead strategic projects, drive important decisions to improve the experience & growth of our driver partners and riders for the Moto category
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with city, and central teams to measure the impact and efficiency of new products and business processes
  • Develop analytical frameworks to support the company in new markets and products
  • Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep teams as efficient as possible

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in preferably analytics/consulting/startups
  • Bachelors degree preferred in engineering, commerce or sciences
  • A proactive nature; when you see an opportunity, you address it, not waiting for someone else to take initiative
  • Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
  • Exceptional Analytical, problem solving, Excel and data management skills
  • Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key take aways, and disseminate actionable insights
  • A desire to learn and constantly improve; you're expected to take initiative and experiment with new processes or improve existing ones

About the Team

The Moto team is part of our Central Products team and is responsible for central operations of Moto which includes strategy and launch as well as initiatives on driver growth, driver operations and compliance. This role reports into the lead for UberMoto.
