About the Role

Uber is looking for a BD Senior Associate for Brazil to join our team. Successful candidates will bring a dynamic combination of IQ and EQ, an ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and strong interpersonal skills to maximize value in partnership negotiations

Someone who enjoys managing multiple deals in a complex but exciting environment, and is willing to put their energy to build long-lasting partnerships with high profile companies and unlock significant growth for Uber in the country

Essentially, a business-oriented strategist and negotiator with drive and stamina, capable of building partnerships to support a variety of high-priority Uber initiatives

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with regional leadership to formulate strategy and identify how to deliver business priorities, as well as new business initiatives incl. big bold bets
  • Contribute to the evaluation, prioritisation and execution of strategic partnerships across Uber. This will include partnership strategy, sourcing, analysis, negotiation and implementation
  • Negotiate partnerships that help Uber achieve our core strategic priorities
  • Perform a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses, as well as regular reporting, in order to help sell in new partnership opportunities, as well as build on existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners across Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Comms & Policy to bring 'first of their kind' partnerships to life
  • Support in the development of long term, mutually beneficial relationships with senior executives of current and prospective partners who assist in the delivery of Uber's growth
  • Handle a high volume of internal and external engagements and the fast pace of our company

What You'll Need

  • 6+ years of experience in tech, management consulting, investment banking or oriented to business development, strategic partnership management
  • Well-rounded profile: ability to combine business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
  • Highly analytical with strong financial modeling and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish, maintain and leverage mutually beneficial relationships at partner companies
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (including building and delivering presentations)
  • Adaptability to change within a fast-paced corporate environment
