Engineering Security (EngSec) at Uber is on a mission to earn customer trust by advancing digital security as a competitive advantage, managing risk, protecting customer privacy and safety, and pushing the envelope in the cybersecurity field.

We are looking for a Sr Program Manager, Strategy & Analytics reporting to the Chief of Staff EngSec as part of a newly created Strategy & Analytics team, to be a central contributor to EngSec's operating and reporting rhythm. This is a great opportunity for a methodical, structured professional with superb communication skills to drive planning, synthesize content, collaborate across multiple functions (with Analytics; across EngSec; and across the wider Trust & Security organization), harmonize metrics and OKRs, and drive operational improvements with a 'can-do' problem-solving mindset.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate across EngSec to drive and harmonize the setting of group strategy and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
  • Support EngSec business/operational planning; develop and implement EngSec-wide content strategy and internal communications
  • Synthesize narratives and develop content for top-level executive presentations (to the Chief Trust & Security Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and other members of the Executive Leadership Team)
  • Collaborate within Strategy & Analytics to support quantitative storytelling
  • Collaborate with People Programs to implement professional development activities that raise our performance bar

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of program management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a 'get things done' bias toward action
  • Ability to operate collaboratively and efficiently in fluid, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to drive order from chaos and to tenaciously drive projects to completion
  • Interest in cybersecurity trends and issues

About the team

The Strategy & Analytics team has been set up to drive operational, strategic, and reporting rigor throughout EngSec. It comprises data analysts (focused on analytics) and an incoming program manager (focused on strategy and associated rhythms) to provide holistic insights and content for executive leadership in EngSec, Trust & Security, and beyond.
