About the Role

We are currently seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to help bring our suite of electrical products from concept through production and into operation. Great judgment, a comprehensive understanding of analog, digital, mixed-signal and RF circuits and their applications are critical to success. This role will work with other engineers on the team to accelerate development, optimize performance, and improve the supply chain.

A familiarity with component selection, schematic capture, part library creation, and board layout are required for this role. This role requires experience with 4-8 layer board design and an understanding of how to design devices not only to achieve product goals, but also design for manufacturing and test. Day to day, the Sr. Electrical Engineer will execute with aptitude, to ensure JUMP products are operationally reliable, exceptionally safe, and consistent across high production volumes.

What You'll Do

  • Be a positive and collaborative contributor for electrical engineering projects.
  • Be organized and decision-oriented, keeping projects on schedule and well-communicated across teams.
  • Have wide domain awareness and understanding of mixed signal design.
  • Work closely with technical experts to execute within aggressive timelines.
  • Collaboratively design analog and mixed-signal hardware in Altium Designer.
  • Perform failure analysis with technicians to identify root causes.
  • Prepare product design and analysis documentation.
  • Collaborate with firmware test engineering to validate new hardware.
  • Evaluate electromechanical components for alternates.
  • Select components, layout circuits, and create component libraries in Altium Designer.

What You'll Need

  • 6+ years experience in Electrical Engineering in the field of digital circuits design.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record in designing products for high-volume production.
  • Contagious passion for complex, precise and well engineered products.
  • High proficiency in PCB engineering and production processes.
  • Deep knowledge about analog, digital and mixed-signal electronics designs.
  • High proficiency in CAD software - Altium Designer is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment under challenging timing constraints.
  • Willing to travel.
