About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring Uber Freight's Business Operations process operates as efficiently as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing all processes and controls for upstream billing issues, ensuring the BPO processes are maintained and efficient, and technologies like robotic process automation, "RPA", are utilized where possible. Write queries to gather relevant data and provide input to team members where necessary.

What You'll Do

  • Create maps for existing processes, with the intent of planning, performing and implementing process improvement initiatives for improving billing accuracy and speeding up cash flow.
  • Organize, lead and facilitate team members across the organization, including sales, account managers and the finance operations BPO support team on freight billing processes
  • Develop and track metrics to provide data for process measurement while identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality
  • Deliver presentations and training to team members and management around current billing processes and problems.
  • Work with Freight Business Operations Manager to develop additional data metrics to help track the health of the business, and better position decision making for all Uber stakeholders
  • Provide top-notch customer service to all Freight customers, and provided an Uber Quality product on a daily basis

What You'll Need

  • Critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and project management skills. You're easily able to break a problem down into its constituent parts to identify the best solution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of freight experience, preferably in operations analyst role
  • Highly proficient in Excel with ability in data modeling
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration/Management or other relevant study
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment - we have no shortage of asks but limited time. You need to be able to effectively assess, prioritize, and execute autonomously
  • Strong time management & interpersonal skills; multitask and prioritize workloads; demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problems
  • Exceptional attention to detail oriented tasks
  • Experience in Zendesk is highly desired
  • Solid functional knowledge of business processes, six sigma, or equivalent study
