About the Role

Working with the Workplace Geographic Lead for the region, you will own the full Real Estate cycle for your assigned portfolio. You will ensure that business demands are captured and be responsible for implementing the CRE response. You will act as the main POC to provide proactive CRE solutions aligned with the business strategy. As the owner of the full workplace delivery for the business in the assigned portfolio you'll translate the business strategy into real estate solutions and provide guidance and consultation to the Real Estate Workplace functional teams (TM, PM, FM.)

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years experience in Real Estate consulting or Masters in Business Studies / Real Estate
  • Senior Portfolio Manager - 10+ years in Real Estate consulting or Masters in Business Studies / Real Estate
  • Senior Portfolio Manager - Demonstrates an expert ability to manage multiple complex large projects simultaneously
  • Account management experience with strong communication, relationship building, and proven influencing skills at a senior level
  • Ability to think strategically to analyze problems and opportunities, determine the direction and make critical decisions
  • Ability to evangelize, communicate and collaborate well with all levels of the company
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive towards effective decision making at a senior level

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with the Workplace Geography Lead on the development of the Real Estate Strategy for the assigned portfolio.
  • Responsible for the execution of the workplace strategy for the assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed Workplace processes.
  • Partner with regional function teams (TM, PM, FM) to ensure business requirements are clearly captured, action plans are developed and solutions are fully implemented.
  • Closely monitor the execution of projects and programs/initiatives to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with TM functions for the execution of projects across the region.
  • Work closely with Program Mgmt and Facility Mgmt to ensure accurate delivery and manage communications back to business.
  • Work closely with project and facilities management teams to solve sensitive issues before they impact the business.
  • Resets expectations with business should new conditions arise during execution.
  • Monitors performance of Workplace operations for the assigned portfolio collaborating closely with function teams (TM, PM, FM) to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Assume full accountability of CAPEX and OPEX performance.
  • Partner with functional teams (TM, PM, FM) and the Regional Workplace Director to develop multi-year Real Estate portfolio plan.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects based on their added value to the company.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with business leaders for the assigned portfolio.
  • Serve as a single POC for all new projects and a point of escalation for TM/FM/PgM matters.
  • Be a trusted leader to key business partners/clients with respect to real estate and facilities matters.
  • Develop the scope of work for all new projects via the Statement of Requirements document and follow up with the business leaders for execution.
  • Create the Approved Project Plan (APP) and route for approval.
  • Educate the business about the Workplace team and its functions (scope, objective, business delivery model).
  • Be an advocate of our brand and communicate Workplace value in order to sustain meaningful participation in business unit strategy.
  • Have an excellent grasp and understanding of business strategies, priorities, and objectives.
  • Translate business strategy and needs into comprehensive Workplace requirements.
  • Influence decision makers and lead change enabling strategic alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Establish a clear contract with the business regarding the strategy, the scope of work, budget and schedule agreed upon for projects and programs/initiatives.
  • Own reporting and communications at a sub-regional level.
  • Act as the main POC and Portfolio Manager for Sub-regional business leaders.

  • Own the full Real Estate cycle for the assigned portfolio

  • Ensures Sub-regional Workplace team operates in alignment under the Global Workplace and regional priorities

  • Manage the successful deployment of global and regional initiatives in the assigned portfolio.

  • Partner closely with the Portfolio Management Global Lead to understand the Global and Regional Workplace priorities and ROB.

  • Maintain an open loop for communication and feedback with Portfolio Management Lead and functional teams (TM, PM, FM) to ensure global and regional initiatives align with business strategy and industry best practices.

  • Drive continued performance improvement by identifying adjustments to regional and global processes.

  • Be an active participant in leading industry organizations to bring insights and best practices to help evolve the overall function that informs and inspire Uber's CRE culture
