About the Team

We are a team of engineers that lead developer security at Uber. Think of us as the team that builds things that help other builders build quickly and safely. We strive to prevent the introduction of security flaws into our systems in first party code. We do this by creating elegant tools that require minimal developer effort to use. Here are a couple of examples: we create systems to perform application sandboxing and tools to build guardrails around developer workflows. We also create engaging training content for engineers at all experience levels. Through education and tooling we maximize our impact beyond the size of our team.

At Uber, we ignite opportunity by setting the world in motion. We take on big problems to help drivers, riders, delivery partners, and eaters get moving in more than 600 cities around the world.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let's move the world forward, together.
