About the Role

We're looking for an HR Business Partner to who will help align business goals with employees and management for the team. You are a consultant to management on business issues, and a guide to managers and employees.

This role is about actively partnering with all Directors and managers and collaborating with employees at all levels of the organization to create a culture of perseverance, ownership and making big bold bets. You will be a coach and guide on all people related matters. You will define and deliver on the people strategy in partnership with the the HR centres of excellence. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to help create programs and processes from scratch

This HR Business Partner will liaise with our new Performance Marketing leader and their leadership team, providing expertise and guidance in the areas of culture and change management, coaching, talent assessment and development, succession planning, performance management, and organizational design. This role is critical in developing and executing HR roadmap in support of Marketing objectives, and is a connected partner for business leaders and global HR partners.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with key leaders and their leadership teams to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR roadmaps that directly support and enable the org's and the business' objectives
  • Partner with clients to develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture, leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change
  • Act as an organizational & simplification champion who supports building of organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners with clients to maximize team performance
  • Partner with clients to implement the most effective organizational structures and manage transitions
  • Provide timely, effective and direct coaching to managers, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills
  • Provide coaching to business leaders and key talent related to succession planning, career navigation, and performance management
  • Lead leadership assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent
  • Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines mentoring, training, etc.
  • Partner with HR team to ensure high quality implementation of critical HR operating rhythms such as performance management and compensation planning, leveraging resources as appropriate
  • Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talent
  • Work with leaders and employees to create a positive and contemporary work environment
  • Provide People Ops Partners team with appropriate coaching, mentoring and development opportunities including exposure to HR Business Partner skills and experiences

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant HRBP experience
  • Excellent understanding of HR programs including compensation, performance management, and leadership development
  • Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters
  • Demonstrated experience in providing HR consultation to senior leadership on strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of HR
  • Knowledge and experience in technology businesses including a familiarity with global HR practices and policies
  • Unquestioned integrity; resolve, presence, and sureness
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Proficiency in making timely, effective, ethics-based decisions
  • Tenacity and ability to create from scratch are imperative
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator including excellent presentation skills; analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Preferred prior experience supporting engineering and/or security organizations
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
