About the Role

As an Asset Protection Lead, you will lead asset protection efforts with assigned business lines. You'll engage, educate, and empower the business with asset protection awareness and tactics to enhance the business's operational and financial efficiency to mitigate financial, intellectual property, and reputational loss. You'll report on existing asset vulnerabilities to the Asset Protection Manager through assessments and site visits and develop plans for remediation. You'll also engage with cross functional teams to execute remediation plans.

Under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager, the Asset Protection Lead role will have the right mix of problem-solving ability, action-orientated bias, strong communication, and an ability to make data driven decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively partner with internal cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate current processes, assess asset shortage risk, and collaborate to build sustainable asset protection tactics
  • Build out the data narrative of the Asset Protection Program, map out Uber's assets and their risk to the company globally, and leverage dashboards and reporting that identifies and tracks current and trending asset risk
  • Have the ability to build out the data narrative while being able to connect it to the larger global strategy
  • Pivot as needed to address unanticipated challenges and complexity. Must be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Develop & Optimize Processes. Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with aggressive timelines for completion
  • Collaborate with the Asset Protection Global Supply Chain Lead to identify asset vulnerabilities throughout the supply chain and develop remediation tactics
  • Report on asset vulnerabilities on assigned business lines through assessments and site visits
  • Develop collaborative relationships with the business that advance asset protection efforts that enhance operational and financial efficiencies
  • Build asset vulnerability remediation plans with key success milestones and collaborate with the business and cross functional stakeholders to drive implementation

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience
  • 5+ years of proven excellence in Physical Security, Asset Protection and Supply Chain Management.
  • Proven ability to set strategy and drive delivery for high performing organizations
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems and implementing creative solutions
  • Ability to manage security challenges in a constantly changing environment
  • Capable of fostering a culture of Trust, Honesty, and Integrity
  • Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence
  • Travel required as needed to get things done
