About the Role

At Uber, providing excellent customer support to our users is a core feature of our product experience. For the Uber Eats space, it's imperative that we maintain that level of customer service while scaling and building new product offerings to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business.

As a Project Manager for Eats CommOps Restaurant Expansion, you will build and execute a strategy to provide excellent customer experience for our restaurant and delivery partners, as well as to our eaters in the US and Canada through core support experiences. You will work closely with other Eats teams across the organization to launch our support strategy for a new product offering. This will include designing, implementing and scaling tailored customer support programs that fit the unique needs of our partners and customers.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategy for US/CAN support that encompasses the full restaurant partner, delivery partner and eater life cycle
  • Build and develop strong relationships with cross-functional counterparts (e.g., City Ops, Central Ops, Sales Ops, Business Development, Sales, S&P, Product, Engineering, Finance, Global CommOps, BPOs, COE) in order to successfully meet short and long term business needs
  • Develop analytical frameworks that support all project work, especially to drive continuous improvement in existing support processes
  • Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to meet the needs of the business

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations / investment banking / consulting / business intelligence / strategy or related experience; some high-growth operations or startup experience is very much preferred.
  • An eagerness to learn and a highly motivated self-starter
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of effective stakeholder management and delivery of results
  • A "driver" personality - biased toward action, great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
  • Excellent communicator, the ability to engage internal and external customers
  • Effective prioritization

Bonus Points if

  • Previous customer support experience
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • SQL Proficiency highly preferred
