Uber is dedicated to providing world-class customer support 24/7/365. Individuals in this role can expect to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays. Schedules will vary and are subject to change based on business needs; we cannot promise or guarantee any specific shift or schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Own and answer inbound phone calls to resolve our carrier-partners' issues in real time
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, identifying and escalating common issues to our product and engineering teams
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism while delivering the best customer service
  • Learn about the multiple knowledge bases and contact management systems
  • Pilot new support products and modalities to constantly improve our operation
  • Identify opportunities for additional resources

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of phone support experience or relevant prior experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with others on an external and internal basis
  • Ability to "learn on the fly" and adjust and adapt in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
  • Commitment to excellence in behavior, performance and work product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to listen effectively; to confidently and diplomatically express opinions and voice concerns with other team members
  • Solid computer and time management skills
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and outside a standard 8 to 5 shift

Bonus Points If

  • Experience in the logistics or Freight industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, English or Journalism
