About the Role

The Account Management Team is embodying this strategy by driving the development of specific cities and areas, with a strong focus on the restaurant side of the business.

As an Account Management Team Lead for Uber Eats in Poland you will have the unique opportunity to develop and scale our food delivery platform in one of our key markets in CEE. You'll be managing a team of account managers who own the relationship with our restaurant partners across the different cities in Poland and will be responsible for executing our account management the strategy on the ground.

This role calls for a rare combination of relationship management, business strategy, marketing, operational excellence, problem solving and team leadership skills. You should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, be a strong team leader, love solving problems, thrive in a startup culture, and be passionate about food.

It is the ideal role for someone who has experience in setting a vision, leading people and building out a business. Someone who's obsessed with tinkering and iterating to obtain operational excellence and 'Uber' quality throughout the customer's experience. This is where creativity meets leadership and execution head on.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of smart and passionate people towards building the Eats business in the Netherlands
  • Set mission and strategy with your team and oversee results-driven execution. You are responsible for the productivity and effectiveness of your team.
  • Project management: own the end-to-end project management of all restaurant operations related projects. These can be anything between small product launches as well as high impact compliance projects.
  • Process design and improvement: you will design and improve processes to deliver an ever improving experience to our restaurant partners.
  • Work cross-functionally: collaborate with other teams to help scale our cities through developing and sharing best practices.
  • Build the business from ground up: be onsite at different restaurants to deeply understand their business, help optimise their supply chain and building local partnerships.
  • Run experiments: We're looking for people who are curious and passionate about solving problems! As a startup within a scale up, there will be many interesting challenges ahead. Experimenting and finding unique solutions is in our DNA.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years experience in operations, marketing, strategy, key account management or business development.
  • +2 years managerial experience with proven coaching and development skills of your team members. (nice to have)
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgement. You understand what drives value for each group in our marketplace and can make sensible commercial decisions to reflect this.
  • Stellar problem solving skills: you easily identify the root cause of a problem and methodologically find the best way to solve it.
  • Project management proven experience delivering high impact multifaceted projects with many stakeholders.
  • Exceptionally good relationship building skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen, from negotiation to execution.
  • Ability to adapt with humility and resilience.
  • Desire to work with restaurants and building a business together.
  • Fluency in Polish
  • Background in FMCG preferred
