About the Role


Uber is looking for a BD Senior Associate for Southern and Western Europe to join our team. Successful candidates will bring a dynamic combination of IQ and EQ, an ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and strong interpersonal skills to maximize value in partnership negotiations.

Someone who enjoys managing multiple deals in a complex but exciting environment, and is willing to put their energy to build long-lasting partnerships with high profile companies and unlock significant growth for Uber in the country.

Essentially, a business-oriented strategist and negotiator with drive and stamina, capable of building partnerships to support a variety of high-priority Uber initiatives.

What You'll Do


  • Lead end-to-end deal processes: strategy, sourcing, analysis, negotiation, and implementation.
  • Negotiate local partnerships that help Uber achieve our core strategic priorities
  • Rapid Response Team for high-priority deals that need to be executed on tight timelines

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 6 years of Business Development experience with exposure to technology transactions but we will consider other candidates if they meet the rest of the requirements
  • Experienced in cultivating, negotiating, and growing business partnerships
  • Excellent judgment, positive attitude, hustle, demonstrated a history of success
  • Strong interpersonal skills which allow you to build trust and negotiate hard with partners, and adeptly manage the cross-functional coordination (product, local operations, engineering, finance, legal) required to implement deals
  • Strong quantitative and financial skills
  • Adept at building and delivering presentations
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English
