About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking a customer centric, resourceful, and driven leader to oversee our strategic partnerships for the largest national enterprise accounts across North America. The Head of National Enterprise Sales will oversee a team of managers and multiple markets, focusing on people management and development, as well as best-in-class sales with local, regional, and national cross-functional team collaboration. The ideal candidate has experience focused on sales and customer success in the enterprise space and is a data-driven strategic thinker with experience in both mature and start-up environments.

What You'll Do

  • Directly recruit, manage, and mentor the National enterprise sales team responsible for acquiring, retaining, and developing the key US/CAN partnerships
  • Responsible for establishing a customer obsessed culture and developing and operationalizing sales strategy to achieve sales critical metrics
  • Own the full sales cycle from outreach to close to customer success post-sale; engage and align effectively in C-level meetings with restaurant partners, actively listen to understand business objectives and challenges, and align Eats solutions to accomplish partner goals
  • Manage and report accurate forecast and pipeline, achieve sales goals on a quarterly basis, and coach account executives and customer success managers on strategies to reach their goals
  • Retain and grow existing restaurant partner base by delivering excellent customer experience via strategic account management
  • Establish an effective partnership with operations, product, engineering, and marketing teams

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 8 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of developing people and building teams
  • Minimum 12 years of sales closing experience in a high growth company
  • Tech industry/ SaaS/ marketplace sales experience required
  • Leadership experience with hiring and coaching sales teams that are selling into large enterprises, preferably across multiple locations
  • Prior experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Must be a player/coach - can lead a client meeting, but can also empower your team to do those meetings solo
  • Must have experience working with a product/solution with long sales cycles
  • Experience consulting and selling into the C-suite at large enterprise companies (CIO, CFO, CTO, Retail Operations, CMO)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management, sales systems design, and data analysis experience
  • Experience with Salesforce; ability to develop accurate forecasting, pipeline management velocity and achieving strong close ratios across a set of sales opportunities
  • Experience working with cross functional teams to achieve the organization's goals through sharing best practices, understanding other's workstream and aligning on priorities
  • A builders' spirit; making something where nothing existed before gets you excited
  • Flexibility to travel to local markets or various Uber locations as needed for strategy, planning, and team building
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus
