Uber Eats Senior Strategy & Operations Manager, Cities

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to take on ownership of a portfolio of markets, and work to manage and grow your these cities within the Uber Eats Canada business. Your responsibilities range from leading competition deep dives into your markets, to spearheading an operational sprint to grow your market. As a part of this work, you will have the opportunity to manage a wide variety of high-impact projects while working with various functional teams and senior leaders, giving you a broad perspective on the food delivery industry. This role also provides a unique learning opportunity to help build fundamental business processes (ex. planning process, market management process, etc.) from scratch with a high degree of autonomy while receiving mentorship from team members on execution and operations.

What You'll Do

  • Create the vision and narrative for the highest priority Uber Eats cities in Canada
  • Work to "own" the Uber Eats business for a specific portfolio of cities
  • Develop the strategic and operational plan to help your markets achieve business and operational targets
  • Analyze and draw strategic insights from a range of core operational and financial metrics
  • Manage and incubate the launch and growth of new product lines to be added to the Uber Eats business
  • Work on strategic and regional Operations projects such as working with US&CAN Eater Ops team to determine what's the right pricing for delivery fees in each of our markets
  • Deep dive on competitors in each of our priority markets, and drive action from insights extracted
  • Work with different functional teams to facilitate regularly cadenced business updates with US and Canada senior leadership
  • Design and launch operational experiments to drive growth in Uber Eats markets
