About the Role

The Strategy & Planning Associate will support Global Network Operations, which is responsible for managing our external vendors providing our customer support globally. Working with teams around the world, this role will deliver high priority projects, provide critical business insights to help identify opportunities and implement operational improvements.

For this role you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills - making and delivering executive-level presentations, analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to convey ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business. You should be able to articulate sound strategy from ambiguous situations and turn it into an action plan for the team to execute on. Most importantly, you should not be afraid to challenge the status quo and make improvement recommendations.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with Global Network Team - specifically Workforce Management and Vendor Management functions - to understand customer service strategy, identify opportunity areas and make recommendations for improvement
  • Drive prioritization, project planning and execution of top priorities within Global Network Organization
  • Gather and organize information on opportunity areas, and develop project plan with clear scope and deliverables
  • Develop customer support strategy by interviewing partners, gaining insights on industry standard processes and systems and developing future visions
  • Work closely with regional teams to ensure global strategy being implemented and delivering results
  • Prepare management presentations and manage quarterly priorities for executive team meetings
  • Drive analysis on globe-spanning projects and make important strategic recommendations improving the experience for our partner drivers and riders
  • Analyze operational KPI's and processes across different regions and lines of business
  • Draft compelling communication to high level stakeholders internally and externally to support the Head of Network Operations

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 3-5 years of management consulting or related experience, or demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end projects from ideation to implementation
  • Strategic vision and clear framework on workforce management and customer service strategies
  • Strong data analysis skills; experience working with both operational and financial data
  • Strong communication, presentation and organization skills - ability to reduce complex and complicated information into clear recommendations to senior leadership
  • Absolute team player and ability to bring different opinions to consensus
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution
  • Explorer - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. Self-starter attitude is a must
