About the Role

At Uber, providing excellent customer support to riders and partners is a core feature of our product experience. Our mission is to empower Uber with actionable insights and solve problems with data tools, dashboarding, and analysis.

We're looking for someone outstanding to help develop our global capabilities related to service quality. Community Operations takes a matrixed approach to customer support, with regional teams responsible for service delivery, and global support teams providing expertise and scale to enable our collective success. This role will be responsible for developing and guiding our capabilities related to strengthening the existing Quality program and measuring, analyzing and implementing metrics to align with business objectives and verify the results.

What You'll Do

  • Develop queries based on stakeholder request
  • Implement new KPIs/metrics
  • Perform weekly and ad hoc quality program updates
  • Automate information gathering and reporting processes
  • Effectively use visualization tools to present data
  • Troubleshoot to support needs of quality system tools users
  • Maintain detailed reporting models to assist regional, and global QA managers

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Economics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Degrees or similar fields
  • At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with expertise in programming languages such as Python/R,SQL, Database Management
  • Experience in troubleshooting SQL based queries
  • Experience in using fundamental quantitative models to solve business problems
  • Experience in Data Visualization
  • Experience in Dashboard Creation
  • Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment

About the Team

Our Community Operations Global Quality and CSAT team has 3 broad mandates - (1) Support the Community Operations Leadership Team by driving projects and programs on Quality and CSAT that have global scope and impact, (2) Lay the foundational pieces of data, metrics, analytics and insights and manage standard methodologies regionally, and (3) Drive communication and coordination globally and regionally.
