About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be a member of the Uber for Business Sales organization. We are seeking a Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead our account executives - someone who does this with both short and long-term market goals in mind, ensuring the right people and processes are in place to get there. You'll work closely with other sales leads, sales operations, marketing, and the broader rides org., to support processes that scale and innovate Uber for Business from the ground up.

We need creative thinkers and builders with previous sales management experience who are passionate about developing a new kind of sales organization at Uber. Your team will be on the frontline introducing businesses to Uber while developing and testing new strategies around sales.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee a team of Middle Market executives within Spain and Portugal
  • Manage and cultivate highly successful and engaged representatives
  • Monitor, evaluate, and develop the performance of individuals on your teams
  • Drive your sales team towards short and long-term market goals
  • Lead by example to demonstrate wins
  • Facilitate focused and productive communication and collaboration amongst a senior team and between your cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate closely with sales operations and city operations as needed to drive growth
  • Manage a successful sales team responsible for exceeding sales critical metrics by observing sales behavior to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement
  • Balance corrective with positive feedback to ensure guidance and performance improvement
  • Validate that your reps have working pipeline to meet business targets
  • Be a thought partner to leadership in regards to sales and partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with sales operations to analyze results and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and programs

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 7+ years of B2B sales experience in high growth companies, consulting, technology, banking, etc
  • Sales closing experience across multiple B2B sales segments and diverse sales cycles.
  • Sales management experience has helped peers succeed in sales & increase their overall knowledge and skills
  • Well-versed on Uber's business model, U4B products
  • Bachelor's Degree required
