About the Role

Uber is looking for a Learning Delivery Specialist to work alongside our Community Operations Learning team. As a Learning Delivery Specialist, you will own the implementation of on-the-ground training and quality programs with our external vendor partners (BPOs). This multifaceted role is constantly changing and requires a candidate who is quick to iterate and improve upon processes. We want someone who is ready to dive in and help create our world-class learning program, work alongside teams around the globe, and foster the feedback mechanism that is imperative to a global learning program. This role will require you to travel 20-40% of the time.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with external vendor partners in the region to collaborate on training priorities including training quality, train-the-trainer certification, and delivery of training programs
  • Plan large scale training programs through strategic project plans
  • Implement onboarding programs within your region, work cross-functionally with subject matter experts and content developers to learn and deploy changes quickly.
  • Facilitate feedback sessions and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure learning needs and requirements are consistently met
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop ways to measure training effectiveness
  • Compile and communicate opportunities and changes to key learning stakeholders

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in training or quality
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a history of working with leadership
  • Desire to create, share, and drive best practices regionally and globally
  • Experience working in a sales environment
  • Willingness to travel 20-40% of time in role

Bonus Points If

  • Experience using SQL, Excel, or other data management tools
  • Previous experience with customer support, sales in the restaurant industry or experience with support ticketing platforms
  • Experience working in an organization that is continuously changing

As a Learning Delivery Specialist, you would be ensuring that these teams of rockstars are able to continuously provide world-class support to everyone involved in the Uber experience through a world-class onboarding experience. This role is about building a solid foundation for our onboarding programs and checking in on the quality of these (in-person) to ensure that we are constantly moving towards our goals.
