About the Role
The Global Operations Compliance team is responsible for building a program from the ground up to document and maintain market-level operating requirements for Uber's Rides business and evaluate market health in meeting those requirements. If you love setting a vision and solving problems from 30,000 feet as well as dive deep into the details, we have the opportunity you've been looking for.
We are looking for Sr Program Managers who will be an integral part of Uber's 2.0 journey by completing operational assessments across Uber markets. The Sr Program Manager role calls for strong problem solving skills and curiosity. You need to be able to quickly understand Uber's operating model in APAC markets, ask the right questions to local teams, spot operational gaps, and propose improvements.

About the Team
The Global Compliance team supports the company's primary OKR - "Stand for Safety." This role is responsible for helping to (1) Help maintain documentation of legal requirements and internal standards, (2) Led operational compliance assessments against those requirements, and (3) Assist teams in remediating any gaps against those requirements. The APAC Sr Program Manager will serve as a key business partner to the India Ops business in supporting the team on achieving full operational compliance in all markets.
