About the Role

The COE Learning & Development Team is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist who is driven and committed to facilitating learning and development initiatives within our various lines of business. This multifaceted role requires a strong knowledge and background in training facilitation and curriculum development. The person in this role will be involved in all aspects of our learning solutions with a focus on facilitator led, e-learning and blended learning.

What You'll Do

You'll be tasked with facilitating the learning initiatives for a specialized support lines of business

  • Respond to competency gaps caused by lack of knowledge and skills and state desired outcomes of successful goal completion
  • Design learning initiatives by
    • Defining specific measurable actions that will enable learners to fulfill instructional goals
    • Providing feedback to learners on the learners' progress in meeting learning objectives
  • Generate learning resources by integrating content and strategies with supporting media and developing guidance for instructors and learners
  • Implement the learning solution by preparing the learning space and engaging participants
  • Evaluate learning by demonstrating the ability to articulate formative and summative evaluation
  • Facilitates line of business (LOB) on-boarding training, continuous learning, on the job training and incubation activities at the Center of Excellence
  • Shadows departments when necessary to obtain knowledge of processes and where training may be needed
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with LOBs and members of the project team based on a shared commitment to achieving business results
  • Updates the weekly training reports and creates a comprehensive hands off for newly on-boarded trainees

What You'll Need

  • Two years of work experience with a minimum of 1 year in Learning & Development and or Teaching / Facilitator / Project Management experience

  • Degree in business or relevant learning program
  • Trainer certification / Master Trainer Certification
  • Project Management certification
  • Instructional Design
  • Customer Service industry experience
  • Concierge experience
