Vehicles is an Operations & Strategy branch at Uber that focuses, among other topics, on:

  • Facilitating vehicle access to drivers through innovative solutions in rentals, fleet management and financing

  • Creating competitive advantage and driver engagement through these solutions and loyalty initiatives

There is a strong interface with multiple areas of the company, including Product, Business Development, other Operations & Strategy team, Marketing, Support and functional areas (Policy, Legal, Communications, etc).

What You'll Do

  • Own the market analysis (analytic, and anecdotal) to include surveys, round tables, and data analysis that inform the Vehicles strategy in Brazil
  • Assist in the deep tech integration of large partnerships with vehicle suppliers, together with the Product, Vehicles, and BD POCs
  • Manage internal parties in the execution of all vehicle related initiatives: city operations teams, engineering, product, finance, and external partners
  • Create new ways that Uber can use vehicles to increase access, improve earnings/engagement, while creating competitive moats
  • Create new processes that can scale with Uber's growth

What You'll Need

  • Hustler - the ability to self-serve, investigate and execute minimal instruction
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills are required
  • Advanced english and portuguese required
  • Ops rockstar with Superman/Wonder Woman-type data skills, and an ability to hack solutions until the product calvary can bring in support
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
  • Operational experience, with a data-first approach to problem solving
  • Understanding of the major marketing concepts of paid media, CRM, call centers. How to bring more drivers to the funnel, and manage conversion
