Senior Strategy & Planning Associate - Western Europe

As Strategy & Planning Associate / Senior Associate for Western & Southern Europe (spanning 11 countries with large existing businesses and very high growth potential in the next 5 years), you will work with the Regional General Manager for Western & Southern Europe, and in close partnership with the region's General Managers and functional leads to help with the strategic business planning process and spearhead transformational projects across different geographies and product lines.

What You'll Do

  • Vision: Work with subregional, regional (Western & Southern Europe) and megaregional (EMEA) teams to identify strategy priorities and structure investments in the region
  • Thought Leadership: Actively support subregional teams by participating in key strategic decisions, advising on cadence and project management, and monitoring strategic priorities (including international travel)
  • Governance and Analytics: Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to track performance in the region
  • Competition: Understand and track the WSE market and local competition across all product lines. Be a resourceful, go-getting multitasker, supporting city teams to make strategic decisions with a competition lens.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Interface with other functional areas within Uber (Business Development, People Operations, Product, Legal, Finance etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships. Work with external experts to identify future growth opportunities and improvement areas.

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 5 years of operational/analytical experience gained in consulting, investment banking, marketing or operations management.
  • Great understanding of business strategy across regions and product lines, ability to take a long-term view.
  • Strong Stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of the French language would be a plus
