Indirect Tax Manager, APAC

Tax, Finance & Accounting
in Singapore, Singapore

About the Role

At Uber, tax roles are business critical and can have a real impact on our potential growth in each market. Tax at Uber is for people who are keen to have skin in the game on business decisions and are excited about being an advocate for change.

This is an amazing opportunity to join our growing APAC Regional Tax team. We are based in Singapore and have responsibility for all tax aspects of Uber's business. While Uber no longer operates in SE Asia as a result of the merger with Grab, there is significant ongoing and exciting post-merger work to be managed by the team. Elsewhere in North Asia and ANZ, our business continues to grow at breakneck speed, and requires close tax support. If you welcome a high-growth, fast-paced international environment, this may be the opportunity for you!

As a tax team, we ensure compliance with tax legislation, identify and research tax issues and clearly articulate our findings to management through verbal/written communication and presentations. We uphold strong working partnerships with internal departments and external stakeholders, including tax advisors, tax policy makers and tax authorities.
