Global Security - Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The Head of EMEA Security will oversee the security support and operations for Uber's footprint in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This will include leading projects that span across the business and across the region, setting strategy, creating processes to improve security efficiency, and implementing metrics to measure the team's effectiveness in supporting the business. The successful candidate for this role has a solid foundation in corporate and physical security principles. S/he is also a skilled communicator, experienced leader, proactive problem solver, and critical thinker who is eager to understand challenges from every angle, and lead in the implementation of solutions. S/he has a demonstrated record of partnering with international colleagues to drive mission objectives while recognizing the value and complexity of regional nuances.

The Global Security team is dedicated to protecting all things Uber, with a major focus on our most important asset--our people. The team is responsible for keeping people safe in and around our Uber facilities as well as supporting business decisions to keep customers safe within our marketplaces. Global Security sits under the Trust & Security organization, which is a part of Uber Legal.
