About the Role

Our regional central office in Amsterdam delivers creative solutions to Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We are looking for a highly creative, talented and experienced art director to help further shape Uber Eat's brand identity and consistency in markets, and elevate the creative work.

It is an exciting time to join Uber Eats, as it is still a young brand and we are defining the brand look and tone. You will be highly involved in defining the brand across various channels for all EMEA markets.

Building our EATS creative team (within our EMEA wide creative and brand team), you will be responsible for conceptual ideas and activation of content, leading and driving the creative process from brief through delivery. You will be responsible for building and maintaining brand excellence across the region.

You will work closely with a copywriter on most projects, to ideate, execute and produce strong creative concepts across numerous channels, including social media, OOH, PR-activations, etc. You will execute work targeted to consumers, as well as towards restaurant partners and couriers.

You will report to the Creative Director as the main internal conceptual team for Uber Eats EMEA. You will be advancing the brand by concepting and launching creative concepts across all channel outputs, including: social, online, PR, OOH, etc. You'll be turning around work quickly, attending and overseeing shoots, and working closely with stakeholders across all of EMEA.

Candidates should be excellent communicators, comfortable in a high-velocity startup environment, and passionate about building the Uber Eats brand.

What You'll Do

  • Conceptualize, design and produce content across our numerous media channels, including our owned media channels, social media, blogs, OOH, PR-activations etc
  • Be responsible for joining/ overseeing quarterly photo and video productions to capture content across social channels
  • Build brand consistency and alignment across the very diverse EMEA region through the work you create and our local partner agencies are asked to produce
  • Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, designers and technologists to develop innovative and persuasive concepts that push the brand to new heights
  • Work with agency partners to deliver a high standard of quality
  • Present work to key stakeholders, creative directors and local markets
  • Be involved in projects throughout all stages of production. Brief building, concepting, refinement, production and implementation

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years working as an art director at a creative agency or comparable in-house agency
  • A strong conceptual portfolio that spans from digital campaigns to ground breaking technical solutions to cross channel storytelling in the field of marketing that helps push brands forward
  • Experience in setting the art direction for photo and video shoots and working with production companies
  • Experience with launching social campaigns or PR-worthy initiatives
  • Ability to offer creative and visual direction or critique work objectively
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Skilled at telling the same story across multiple channels in a way that's integrated, yet optimized for every touchpoint
  • Applicant should be comfortable in a trailblazing environment
  • A highly collaborative working style
  • The ability to be versatile and flexible to manage work through the approval process--Including reviewing work with creative directors, presenting to stakeholders and managing feedback
  • Experience working on EMEA-wide or global projects is a plus, but not necessary
