About the Role

As a Program Manager in the Sales & Success team for Uber Eats, you will use analytical ability and problem-solving skills to deliver data-based insights. You will use these insights to build scalable programs that will enhance the customer experience across the acquisition and retention teams to drive business impact. You will also work directly with the leadership team on strategic priorities.

The team is focussed on delivering an excellent customer experience at scale, which we achieve through self-service, supported by high-value human interactions. Our customers are typically single store restaurants or those with only a small number of locations (we refer to them as SMBs).

We are looking for experienced Program Managers who will develop advanced customer analytics and insights to increase sales effectiveness, enable smarter selling and support signal driven proactive account management. In this role, you will work with a range of business areas including sales, account management, marketing, product and operations. Having strong technical ability and project delivery skills will be important for your success.

**What you'll do


  • Develop SQL queries, analyse data, and create visualisations to address specific business cases

  • Build reporting and dashboards to monitor performance (at team and campaign levels)

  • Use skills and experience to identify areas for improvement

  • Liaise with cross-functional partners to enable collaboration on projects

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior decision makers concisely and effectively

  • Identify opportunities where data analytics can support key business decisions

  • Design and deliver customer profiling, segmentation and scoring models

  • Determine signals in the data that can be used to trigger programs (such as CRM campaigns)

  • Automate campaign driven activities by having a good understanding of CRM systems

  • Liaise with the managers of acquisition and retention teams

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor or advanced degree

  • Preferred degrees include data analytics, computer science, business information systems or related

  • At least 5 years experience post graduation

  • A blend of strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, with demonstrated program management skills

  • Presentation and communication skills, including storytelling ability

  • Ability to translate complex data and analytics into clear, concise and actionable communications

  • Analytical ability, including

    • Advanced in SQL - ability to import & join data, build complex tables & queries, and automate processes
    • Advanced in Excel / Google Sheets
    • Data visualisation skills
    • Preferred - experience with Salesforce
  • Experience in consulting or with tech companies and/or startups is preferred
