About the Role

UATG is hiring highly skilled Automotive Technicians who have excellent attention to detail, are experts at solving problems, have a deep passion for cars, and will maintain a calm professional attitude in all situations. Travel to various locations will be required.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Fleet Technicians giving direction on a day to day basis.
  • Reporting, documenting, and developing fleet services technicians abilities.
  • Perform repairs on Uber ATG vehicles.
  • Meet internal deadlines.
  • Continued Technician development for you and the Team.
  • Ability to perform most any automotive repairs to OEM and UATG systems.
  • Customer-obsessed
  • Report deliverables to Management that align with Organizations and Team goals.
  • Ability to provide feedback to Team Members, Management, and Engineering when needed.
  • Hold regular staff meetings align team members with organizational priorities
  • Report vehicle status to Manager.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum ten years of direct experience in the Automotive industry.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Must possess excellent communications skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Automotive systems.
  • Strong electrical skills, Reading wiring schematics
  • Ability to problem solve, diagnose, analyze and isolate problems.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Lynx.
  • A can-do customer service attitude with abilities to multi-task under pressure in an unstructured environmentBonus points if you have Fleet and Heavy Truck experience.
