Key Account Manager - New verticals
About the Role
We are looking for a Key Account Manager, who will be able to collaborate with the largest chains available on the app to develop our Grocery & New Verticals business in France.
This position requires a combination of partner relationship management, business and operational strategy as we venture into new business opportunities. (e.g. non-food) Be excited in an environment where everyone is mobilized to solve sophisticated situations and seek fulfillment in a “start up” culture. We are moving full speed ahead to ensure that Uber users, partners and partner couriers can experience the magic of Uber Eats. The role of Enterprise Account Manager is essential since they will independently maintain relationships with some of the most important partnerships for Uber New Verticals in France.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Partnership management: Be the main point of contact in front of the headquarters of your Enterprise partners (Key Accounts). Build long-term relationships with your key accounts, which will allow you to optimize their financial results, their marketing investments, their engagement on the platform and their happiness. You will significantly influence their delivery performance.
- Growth: Develop action plans with your Enterprise accounts to grow their sales through the activation of new stores (ex: deployment of stores, support for expansion), the experimentation of new business models, or the sales growth of already active stores (e.g. marketing campaigns, assortment optimization).
- Analysis: Quantify everything you do. You will make decisions based on the data to understand the performance of your initiatives, and you will prioritize those with the best return on investment.
- Commercial management: Conduct commercial discussions with your accounts to build long-term, balanced partnerships.
- Work with internal teams: Work closely with partners in our internal teams in France (ex: Local Account Managers) and internationally (ex: Product, Support, Courier Operations teams), in order to drive national actions for your partners, solve their challenges and ensure that their feedback is used to improve our product and our operations.
- Act as an ambassador for Uber Eats' mission, brand and product.
Basic Qualifications
- Project management to develop detailed plans for improving operational and financial metrics, in collaboration with Enterprise partners
- Data driven mentality: Decision-making based on data, a solid business sense supported by a structured way of thinking in order to measure the performance and financial viability of your partners. Excel modeling skills.
- Problem Solving Skill: Encounter a problem? you work hard to solve it and think in an unexpected way.
- Complete autonomy and proactivity: You are able to work with a lot of freedom, and go beyond problem solving to propose growth initiatives and projects that add new value for your partners.
- Ability to build positive relationships with external partners and internal collaborators, supported by good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Want to work with the biggest chains and build their business in delivery
- Fluency in French and proficiency of English.
