Industry Team Lead, Ads Strategic Verticals
About the Role
As the Uber Advertising Vertical Team Lead, you will be a part of the founding team and lead a group of hard-working, experienced Sr. Client Partners and Partner Managers who are responsible for revenue and account growth from the leading fortune 500 brands.
We are building a new Uber Ads division to accelerate the next phase of our global advertising business. Our vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Uber Ads platform will enable brands to reach, engage and convert our highly engaged user base.
The candidate will manage a team of 7-8 Client Partners and Partner Managers, and also lead the strategy, revenue and operations for 1-2 key verticals.
What You'll Do
- Train, coach and develop a high performing ad sales team with subject matter expertise across key assigned verticals
- Work with product, marketing and operations to build and customize Uber's advertising solutions and go-to-market strategy to meet the needs of our top customers
- Regularly meet with advertiser and agency executives to establish JBPs and Annual Commitments
- 6+ years of full time experience
- Experience in digital advertising and previous sales management experience
- Experience building and scaling sales teams
- Strong business insight and high EQ
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral formats, for both internal and external audiences
- Excellent at building and auditing sales processes along with articulating problems and opportunities therein
- Knowledge and expertise in digital and mobile advertising
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $161,000 per year - $179,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $179,000 per year - $199,000 per year.
For Santa Monica, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $161,000 per year - $179,000 per year.
