About the Role

The Solutions Architect team is part of the central merchant operations at Uber Eats. We are pioneering how Uber Eats interacts with our merchants. The Merchant operations team strives to deliver an outstanding merchant experience and operational efficiencies, to drive selection, retention & growth.

As a Sr Solutions Architect, you will be leading a team in building Uber Eats API integrations with our key customers and technical collaborators. Solutions Architect Lead will be internal champions for external client excellence that crosses all functions within the org: sales, operations, product, engineer and analytics.

  • Lead, empower, and develop a team of solutions architects responsible for Uber Eats API integration, technical program management, and operational improvements within a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment
  • Set the mission and drive detailed governance for the team, enabling them to achieve ambitious targets for their respective OKRs
  • Collaborate with a highly multi-functional groups including Product, Engineer, Sales, Account Management, Central and Local Operations teams
  • Complete and supervise the execution of our technical integrations at scale, including handling projects and tools geared towards improved restaurant experience & integration quality
  • Work with deal makers. to handle key technical relationships with client tech teams and derive maximum value for our partnerships
  • Partner with sales and account management teams to sell-in and onboard partners to new Uber Eats products and solutions. Accurately communicate all technical specifications, product/project prerequisites, and integration requirements!
  • Be responsible for the plan and delivery of technical integration engagements with Eats merchants by project running resourcing, timelines, and dependencies with key stakeholders' input. Work closely with Eats partners to successfully launch new tech integrations to win new accounts and grow existing accounts.
  • Be the technical point-of-contact for a group of Uber Eats customers mapping up to the CIO level and navigate internal processes to provide the best outcome for clients and our markets. Lead the partner onboarding, technical deployment, and support strategy for both 1:1 and many partner engagements
  • Lead relationship management with prioritized ecosystem partners and vendors such as service providers, system integrators, technical consulting partners, and other 3rd-parties
  • Collect & aggregate product feedback from merchants and collaborate with Product and Engineer teams to prioritize customer requests

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  • 5+ years experience leading and implementing partner technology integrations and actively engaging with strategic partners.
  • 1+ years experience as a people manager
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Motivated by the mission of Uber Eats. Aim to improve the customers' experience.
  • High-energy and motivational leadership driven by personal influence and example with direct staff, peers, and senior leaders across all company functions
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and solutions such as API's, middleware, SDK's. Engineering background is preferred.
  • Tight-knit collaboration skills-building deep, trust-based relationships with multi-functional teams
  • World-class communication and demonstration skills; experience and confidence providing information and illustrating clear value propositions to highly skilled audiences ranging from on the ground individual contributors up to C-level executives
  • Demonstrated project and program management skills - Able to lead multiple sophisticated engagements simultaneously and move them forward according to project timelines.
  • Be able to flex between getting very deep into the tech details - no task is too small - to presenting and communicating the tech solutions to partner C-suite
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to act effectively with only high-level direction is also crucial.
  • Are customer-focused, and you relentlessly think about building the best solutions for all our merchants!
