Immigration Manager, Europe

About the Role

We need someone passionate about all things Immigration to manage and oversee our Europe immigration programs. We'll need you to have both strategic and hands-on regional immigration experience, as well as a mix of entrepreneurial and large, high-growth company experience. This position is a great opportunity to lead the vision and direction of a rapidly growing strategic program in a booming, constantly changing environment. The position is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Head of Global Immigration to shape the future of the regional programs and teams

• Define, implement, and oversee the strategy of our European immigration programs

• Act as a trusted advisor recommending immigration strategic offerings for Talent Acquisition (TA), HR, Business leadership that would impact policies, program and processes

• Create and maintain strong working relationships across our European senior leadership teams to strategically support their org with our program

• Partner with HR and business leaders to align talent planning with global immigration

• Continually assess immigration processes and policies to ensure an optimal experience for all stakeholders

• Provide timely, in-depth and comprehensive forecasts, projections and data to the global head of immigration and regional executive teams

• Own and develop relationship with HRBPs and Hiring Managers to support all immigration needs of the business

• Work directly with and advise the Global Mobility team, HRBPs, Hiring Managers, immigration counsel on all relocation, assignments, or transfers globally

• Analytically drive the metrics used to evaluate the team’s performance, including speed, efficiency, quality, and thoroughness to meet objectives

• Demonstrate a management style that encourages participation and ownership, along with a continuous focus on action, customer satisfaction, and personnel satisfaction

• Oversee regional vendor relationships and performance. Ensure that our vendor provides high quality experience to our internal stakeholders

• Promote internal education by developing and updating immigration resources, process flows, and procedures for Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and foreign nationals to include: FAQs, Presentation slides, and Policy documents

• Occasionally hand hold VIP and High Risks immigration case administration to ensure high quality services and thorough solutions are provided

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as HR, legal or business management)

• 8+ years of experience in Immigration Program Operations and Management, a true subject matter expert (SME) in immigration

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, leading a diverse team and maintaining a high talent bar

• Ability to effectively communicate. Including delivering difficult messages and driving change, while building and maintaining relationships with senior business leaders

• Flexibility and ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and deadlines.

• Working effectively across various functions within the People organization

• Strong project management experience including development and implementation of improvement plans and coordination of multi-jurisdiction projects

• Legal or compliance background

• People management experience

• Experience of working in a global matrixed environment

• LEAN or Agile management experience is preferred

• Background in right to work and compliance mitigation

• Experience working with iCIMS, or other applicant tracking systems

• Experience using Workday, Asana, ServiceNow and Google tools
