Senior Central Operations Manager (Marketplace), EMEA

About the Role

As a Senior Central Operations Manager (Marketplace), you will drive projects that enhance our capabilities, understanding and efficiencies in at-scale monitoring, diagnosis & generating recommendations. You will be responsible for executing these initiatives by using the right tools and implementation of robust governance mechanisms. You deliver results and are highly strategic with prior experience in high-impact and large-scale projects. You are also outstanding at influencing senior partners of the business through excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do

Specifically in this role, you will be engaged in managing pricing across EMEA by:

  • designing pricing strategies and roadmaps for various markets
  • conducting pricing reviews to improve marketplace performance
  • supporting the rollout of various pricing technology
  • improving internal processes and tools
  • working closely with Product to improve the pricing technology

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy/operations
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven business acumen
  • Good project and stakeholder management skills
  • Organisation and Planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL (Intermediate to Advanced strongly preferred);
  • Python nice to have

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity.
