Senior Product Operations Manager

About the Role:

The fundamental goal of Senior Product Operations Manager is to ensure we build and support the right products and solutions to move our business forward.

Product Operations works closely with cross-functional customers to surface needs, prioritize, test, rollout and iterate on products. In this role, you will work closely with Tax, Business Operations, Data, and Engineering teams on cross-team initiative analysis, planning, alignment, and execution. We are looking for a dedicated, tech-savvy person with business knowledge, who is able to assess impact in the area of FinTech and to follow up on delivery and cross-team dependencies during roll-out.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

  • Apply business configurations in the Uber FinTech systems and tools.
  • Good partnership with Product, Tax, Data & Engineering teams during requirements definition, product testing, data collection, and analysis
  • Define the operating structure and processes to implement on product strategy on a highly effective product operations team
  • Maintain regular communications with key customers across the organization.
  • Lead a community of strategic leaders to encourage meaningful impact to the business
  • Ensure functional customers are aligned on key objectives for the program/product
  • Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product life cycle
  • Develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, and project-management implementation
  • Collaborate with critical teams (legal, tax, policy, support etc) to prepare the product for launch
  • Accountability for supervising core business metrics related to the product
  • Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by the product post-launch
  • Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvements
  • Lead a team
  • Proven experience in operations, IT solutions consulting or software products development and support
  • Demonstrated ability developing teams
  • Deep analytical experience
  • Deep technical understanding
  • Large scale, global project management experience
  • Excellent communication, the ability to engage internal and external customers
  • Deep understanding of the user experience
  • Ability to use data to advise and support critical decisions
  • Ability to document, supervise and complete large scale requirements
  • Strong track record leading senior customers and operating in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Project management experience, working on large scale technical projects
  • Previous experience as a Business/Systems Analyst team manager
  • Experience working closely and communicating successfully with internal and external business and technical team members in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines.
