Senior Business Strategy Manager

About the Role

This role will lead two other operations managers responsible for implementing processes and initiatives to improve our critical metrics and market health in the Southwest US. If you love managing a team, sophisticated processes, working cross-functionally, solving problems at 10,000 feet as well as in the weeds, this role is for you. We're looking for someone who will excel at solving complex problems, running multiple work streams, and engaging with team members so as to deliver on business goals that ensure marketplace metrics are hit while unlocking growth.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Implement business-critical processes to ensure we meet our legal obligations, KPIs including reporting, process iteration, opportunity identification
  • Own business strategies as well as local market strategies, and be responsible for monitoring, correcting, and carrying out business processes
  • Identify priorities such as growth opportunities or operational weaknesses and help drive the team's strategy and improve or innovate processes
  • Develop frameworks to support the company in business decision-making
  • Build, maintain, communicate, and present detailed reporting
  • Present models, findings, and insights to management to drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with other Operations teams, marketing, product, and other functions, to ensure that insights advise broader critical initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4 years of experience in analytics, operations management, process building and implementation
  • Data-first problem solver with excellent Excel/data management and SQL skills
  • Experience developing a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in strategy, consulting, business intelligence, or related experience is a plus
  • High-growth operations, tech, or startup experience is strongly preferred
  • Outstanding communication and organization skills
  • Self-motivated, works well independently but able guide direct reports

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity.
