Operation Associate

You will have the opportunity to join our Courier Operations team in charge of creating the best experience for our Courier partners. This is a key role for Uber Eats and combines various skills such as project management, process creation and automation, advanced data analytics, and daily interactions with our Regional team in Amsterdam, as well as city and country teams. We will be there to support, mentor, and guide you as you immerse yourself in the world of Operations.

About the role

  • Process and Tool creation - create, improve and scale processes and tools for our Couriers partners and teams in the field.
  • Automate marketing campaigns, build new rules that help fight fraud, develop new partnerships, optimize onboarding processes, and find scalable solutions to the most important issues.
  • Data Analytics - You will autonomously create your own analyses to improve decision-making and impact business outcomes across Italy
  • Project management and execution - Operations coordinators oversee projects from their initial definition until their final implementation
  • Cross-functional teamwork and collaborator management
  • Growth Strategy: be responsible for courier growth in the local market, analyzing the best acquisition and engagement channel, including managing all comms
  • Improve Courier experience in-app, develop new training and review
  • Optimize delivery times, earnings, restaurant satisfaction with couriers, and eater (recipient) satisfaction with couriers, optimizing support operations to enhance metrics

What will you do

  • Create, improve and scale processes and tools for our Couriers partners at a national level.
  • Create analyses and dashboards to measure your projects' success and improve decision-making
  • Solve business challenges through operational excellence based on robust analysis
  • Plan and project manage multiple projects and have the ability to execute in a constantly changing, complex environment
  • Ensure courier growth and engagement metrics are first class, including comms and training material
  • Be the voice of the courier and collect insights through CRM, surveys & roundtables
  • Work closely with territory teams and Commops for fraud monitoring and reduction

What You'll need

You have graduated from an engineering or business school and have at least 1-2 years of prior experience working in a startup, tech company, consulting firm, investment firm or any kind of operations/data-focused roles.

  • Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through analytical thinking
  • Strong Analytics. Ability to use data to build models to find opportunities and deliver results. Advance Excel and SQL knowledge is a must with Python as a strong plus
  • Strong ability to build and optimize rigorous processes. Finding scalable, creative solutions and being a champion of operational excellence are of interest to you.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work strategically and complete objectives while demonstrating solid stakeholder management
  • Product sense. You know what makes a product experience not just good, but outstanding. You work cross-functionally with teams to build processes that delight users and drive measurable impact
  • Capability to take initiative and easily adapt to a constantly-changing work environment and you are comfortable with ambiguity.
  • A creative approach and enjoy putting in place initiatives to solve practical issues
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English and Italian
