About the Role

With New Verticals, we're building Uber's fastest growing, and our next 10^10, business. Global in scope, with a focus on our largest potential grocery and other new verticals markets, the team is responsible for all grocery and new verticals operations, sales, and strategy across markets and also manages our integrated operations and efforts with Cornershop. Today, our focus is on the 12 priority markets of the US, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Taiwan. This scrappy, nimble and high-performing team is tasked with building a sustainable high-growth business as we expand from restaurants to other high growth verticals.

We are looking to hire a Program Manager who is passionate about building and scaling our Sales Operations function within Australia and New Zealand for New Verticals, Uber's fastest growing business. Program Managers strategically partner with commercial teams to drive forward high-priority Sales Ops workstreams and ensure local market needs and solutions are identified. This role will partner directly with market GMs and Commercial Leaders in order to build the foundation for the commercial teams to be successful at scale. The ANZ Sales Operations Sr Program Manager will focus on driving key pivotal initiatives to optimize launch and go-to-market, increase sales productivity, and support aggressive OKRs in a nascent sector of the Uber Delivery portfolio.

What you'll do

  • Ability to build consensus with cross-functional partners such as GMs, Commercial Leaders, Strategy & Planning, Systems & Enablement etc.
  • Experience with customer acquisition, account management, and/or support processes, systems and datasets
  • Skilled ability communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process optimization & standardization using strong documentation. You lean in and embrace the details to map processes and clean data.
  • You are skilled at project management such that you can easily balance urgent versus important requests, and you thrive in ambiguity.
  • Analytical orientation with an aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements.
  • Experience working with large sets of unstructured data and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using Salesforce, SQL, Excel or Google Sheets).
  • You must be a self-starter and able to work independently.

What you'll need

  • Develop and execute initiatives to support and further the overall sales org strategy. This work would be done in parallel with the General Manager and Commercial Leaders in ANZ.
  • Build a customer acquisition engine to better target and sign prospects by working with our Sales Planning & Analytics and Systems team to score and distribute accounts to teams in a scalable approach.
  • Build and monitor reporting to assess commercial team performance and further the overall sales strategy across the full partner lifecycle.
  • Manage cross-functional projects with our Sales, Operations, Systems, Strategy & Planning, Enablement, and Tech teams to drive strategy and achieve targets.
  • Act as a market champion for ANZ by ensuring that country needs are properly represented and solutioned against across all Sales Operations as well as key cross-functional partners (Sales Systems Operations, Enablement, Product Marketing, Product, and Business Systems).
  • Collaborate on overall commercial strategy and prioritization by gathering insights & considerations on both challenges and solutions for commercial teams and by synthesizing inputs & collaborating on shaping region-specific strategy and prioritization (including trade-offs as needed).
  • A minimum of 6 years experience a combination of strategy, operations and project/program management
  • Experience with (SFDC) and other contact relationship management tools (CRMs) and datasets
  • Knowledge of SQL
